Merry Christmas!

The kids love the tradition of sleeping in Dylan's room on Christmas Eve. I had to wake them up in the morning - go figure. It was 7 a.m. and I was too excited!!
Another fun tradition is new jammies.
Oh happy Christmas Day - he got a cool new club.
And a few new cool shirts.
 Brax got his favorite movie.
She loves her Easy Bake Oven!
Yes, we made cookies for breakfast.

Dreams come true - he asked for the Terrain Twister and was giddy happy about getting it.
Yeah - roller skates. Nati got a pair a couple of years ago and....Dylan lost one of them. So mom and dad got her new ones and she was super excited.
 Go, baby, go!!
The Terrain Twister on the move.
One happy family that feels so very blessed :)

Christmas Eve 2012

We spent Christmas Eve with my parents. This year was a little hard for us because my moms' dad - Grandpa Larsen (Tractor) was going downhill fast and we were so concerned about him. I pulled it together for the kids so they didn't feel it was any different but in all honesty, it didn't feel like Christmas this year.  We went through the motions and managed to make Christmas great for the kids.

La La Loopsy was a hit.
Clothes & money are just right for him.
Bad picture of his new shirt and legos.
A nice, quiet Christmas Eve.

Buddy the Elf

It's that time of year again.
We have a guest that makes our home lots of "fun".
He comes December 1st and leaves on Christmas Eve.
The kids think he's hysterical.
Mom and Dad try to put up with him.
His name is Buddy!

He's baaaack!
 This was a huge hit!

 Merry Christmas Eve

This was..... lots of fun. Buddy tried to take the tree upstairs with a string of lights.
He turned all of the chairs over.
He started munching on the gingerbread house.
Santa's magic was lifted for a few minutes so that the kids could say goodbye. There were tears involved. Nati was super sad.
Brax told Buddy to hurry back.
Awww - fake tears are so special.

Traditions of the season

I love the fun traditions that we do as a family each year. Here are the highlights :)

Lee Family Christmas Party 2012
"BINGO" is always the best event of the night. Everyone gets into it and loves the fun prizes that mom has for them.
Nati's Christmas Cookie Exchange 2012
Natalie begged for some type of party to have with some friends.
We invited a few friends and their moms to join us for a cookie exchange, "Pin the Heart on the Grinch", and visiting. It was a fun party & my girl was satisfied.

 Bunco Dinner 2012
Love being with these great friends every month. We have made it a tradition to go to dinner and exchange gift for our December Bunco. Super fun!
Gingerbread house
Braxton continues to decorate the gingerbread man while Nati does the tree and Dylan decorates the house. Love my silly little family!

 Ornaments with Grandma Carter
Jason's mom takes all of the grandkids to the mall to get ornaments every year. The kids love it! We normally get the ornaments, ride the train, see Santa and eat lunch. This year we got ornaments, no train - super sad kids, you had to pay to see Santa - ridiculous, and had lunch followed by riding the carousel. It was fun but the kids were sad about the train and Santa.
