Our yearly tradition of running Elle's 5K was great once again. Mom came and walked it again this year. Dylan beat me by over a minute. Oh, how I miss the days when I was kicking his butt. Natalie won a scooter, which she was so excited about. It was a great day, as always!!

On Memorial Day I took the kids to the cemetary to visit my Grandpa & Grandma Lee's graves. We also found my Great Grandpa & Grandma Averett's grave as well. Then we went to Provo Cemetary to find Grandma & Grandpa Booke's graves. We spent 45 minutes looking for it and, sadly, couldn't find it. Next year!! They loved looking at the dates on the graves and talked about how old some of them were. It was a good wrap-up for the weekend.

Good-bye Kindergarten

Our last day of Kindergarten!!

I say "our" because she is the caboose of the kindergarten years. I won't ever have a child graduate from kindergarten again. I was fine with it until that day. Just watching her sing the songs, and say her little part was a little rough for me. She is so excited so I'm excited for her but, I have to admit that my heart struggled a little and I'm sure it will the first day of 1st Grade. She had a great year and  a wonderful teacher. She's in tutoring for the summer so she's all ready for 1st Grade to start. Yeah Nati!!

Spring Dance Recital

Once again Nati performed her little heart out. It was the perfect end to the dance year and we are now, not so patiently, awaiting the fall season to start again. Love my little dancer!

Track and Field and Field Trips

The last month of school was full of fun! I went with the Kindergarten classes to Thanksgiving Point to walk through the farm. It was super fun but SUPER COLD!!! Natalie loved riding on the bus with me and kept telling her friends that I came with her.

Dylan also finished up Track. He did so great! His fastest mile was 6:04. Yeah Dylan!! The few times I've had him run with me he has kicked my butt. It's strange to have him so much bigger and faster than me now. I remember a few years ago I was dragging him on runs and now he's dragging me. We are so very proud of him!!

I am so very proud of my boys for their amazing golfing abilities. We made a golf green in the back yard and they are loving it. It required special grass, frequent mowing, and lots of water. Oh, and Jason's brother brought over a construction roller and rolled the entire back yard. Dylan would love to make it on the Jr. High golf team this fall. Braxton has joined the ranks and wants to be a pro golfer too. I love seeing them all enjoying it together.

Spring Break 2012 Best Vacation Ever!! 

 There is a magical thing called "Spring Break" and this year we went to a magical place called "St. George". I went down Tuesday with the kiddos and Jason drove down Wednesday afternoon. We stayed at Jesse's house there. It was great!! Kinda like going on vacation and taking your house with you.  Except his house was really clean :) A bedroom for everyone, family room, kitchen....FABULOUS!! We did everything and nothing. Slept in every day. Swam with our friends that were down there as well. Shopped a lot (mostly the boys - I know, it's a shocker but they went to town getting new golf clothes). Ate a lot. Watched movies every night. Went hiking around the Dixie Rock. Fed the ducks. Had ice cream at Nielson's. We took Nati and Braxton's scooters and they rode all around the neighborhood. Everyone got along great. No XBOX or computer games which wasn't intentional but turned out to be the best left-at-home item ever. It really was a great week. We all needed a break and we loved every second of it. We were all sad when it was time to come home. Good times, good memories!!
